LONDON LIFE? London Robots!! Are we stuck?

This is for those that once again complained... You know who you are!

We apologise for not keeping this up-to-date - it’s so hard to explain how crazy life has become. We have calendars, dairies and we still can’t keep up with the play of where and when we are meant to be and who we are meant to be catching up with. It’s crazy. We have to book people in about 2 weeks in advance to be able to catch up. Is that sad? Or is that just the way in London? There is so much going on, but at the same time, it might possibly be the loneliest city in the world.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the London way of life, sometimes we have to remind each other why we are here – TO TRAVEL. Hard to leave this city sometimes as there is so much going on, so much to see, so much to do, so many people to have a beer with, so many people to party with. We repeatedly have to kick each other in the shins and remind us of all the places we want to see.

We have numerous trips booked in the next 3 months. By the time we get home at Christmas we would have been [since June] Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Poland, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Prague and Italy... Hard to imagine really – Wonder if we have changed? Wonder if you have changed? Wonder if anything has changed? Doubt it – PERFECT, just the way we want it.

The first bouts of homesickness have kicked it. Boy oh boy do they suck!!! Its a strange feeling and hard to cope with. Especailly hard knowing how easy it would be to come back to NZ and carry on life as we knew it. We have to remind ourselves that if we were to do that, the moment after we saw everyone [friends and family] would be the moment we once again kicked ourselves in the shins - Nothing changes, everything will be there next year! Just have to keep on keeping on.

Chris has moved from London leaving me feeling a tad like Bridget Jones. He is living in Little Hampton [south border of England - on the beach] he is working as a Chippy/Builder and loving it! He is earning really amazing money which is awesome. Hard being apart from each other - but makes our weekends super fun and exciting. Currently one more sleep.

This weekend is TOAST NZ and supergroove are playing. EXCITING... Watch this space and we promise to upload photos soon.
